Apprenticeship Details

Duration: 4 years

Units: 32 Core and 5 Elective Units

Delivery Mode:

  • Students can study the theoretical elements of this course, anywhere and anytime through our online learning platform.
  • Students must complete 300 hours of practical work and must have access to a qualified supervisor.

Students must be an Australian Resident
and 15 years and over
Students must have a training contract

  • Further study to obtain other Units of Competency which are relevant to a variety of fire occupations.
  • Qualifications that may assist in applying for licences from:

    Queensland Building and Construction Commission — QBCC (QLD)

NOTE — This qualification obtained through RPL alone is not sufficient to apply for a Restricted Plumbers license as required to apply for an Install and Maintain Wet Systems License in QLD.
